About the position

The Human Resource Manager at Smile Avenue Family Dentistry is a full-time role focused on managing the dental office's workforce and operations. This position is crucial for promoting the organization's strategic initiatives and ensuring a positive workplace culture that reflects the company's values of professionalism and care. The HR Manager will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for both clinical and non-clinical roles, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
• Manage candidate screening, oversee job postings, and conduct interviews.
• Ensure seamless onboarding for all new hires, including benefits induction and integration into our systems.
• Function as a bridge between staff and leadership to resolve conflicts and manage employee relations.
• Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and implement engagement initiatives.
• Recognize and celebrate employee milestones and contribute to a positive working environment.
• Administer payroll operations through ADP, ensuring accuracy in timesheet management.
• Handle benefits administration, including enrollments in medical, life insurance, HSA, and 401k plans.
• Manage disability and unemployment claims, as well as track paid time off and leave requests.
• Maintain up-to-date personnel records, including certifications and continuing education compliance.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, benefits legislation, and organizational policies.
• Lead annual trainings focused on safety and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.
