About the position

The Human Resource Office/Training Manager at Walmart plays a pivotal role in shaping the workforce within the fulfillment and distribution centers. This position is designed for individuals who possess a strategic mindset and are eager to tackle complex organizational challenges. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for making data-driven decisions that foster a high-performance culture among thousands of associates. You will work closely with an engaged team, reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, and will lead business partners in staffing, developing, and inspiring the next generation of Supply Chain associates. In this role, you will build authentic relationships with business leaders and associates, understanding their needs and supporting them in creating a world-class work environment. You will be tasked with leading the flawless implementation of new HR programs and policies while ensuring the continued execution of existing ones. Your ability to innovate HR strategies will be crucial as you collaborate with business partners to align HR objectives with their evolving goals. Additionally, you will facilitate talent reviews and succession planning discussions, working in partnership with operational leaders to put actionable plans into place. The ideal candidate will be a good listener and a thoughtful speaker, with a strong customer focus and a drive to deliver results. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo and possess a deep understanding of Human Resources. Your leadership skills will be essential as you guide and develop employees from new hires to promoted associates, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the challenges of a Fortune 1 company scale. This position is not just about managing HR processes; it’s about being a critical thought leader who influences the organizational culture and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Human Resources processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Human Resources Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR).
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR).
  • Experience with Walmart Logistics Systems.
