About the position

As an Onboarding Specialist for Security Officers at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the high-volume hiring and onboarding process for prospective employees. This position is based in our Grove City, Ohio office, where we are committed to providing an efficient and pleasant onboarding experience for all new hires. Your primary responsibilities will include managing an advanced Excel spreadsheet to track candidates, communicating with prospective employees through various channels such as text, phone, and email, and collaborating closely with District Managers and the Human Resource Team. You will also be responsible for adjudicating background checks to ensure that all new hires meet our standards and requirements. The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit a positive, high-energy attitude and possess a self-starter personality. You should be able to work independently while also demonstrating great teamwork skills. Public speaking confidence is essential, as you will be interacting with candidates and presenting information clearly. A minimum of two years of customer service experience is preferred, along with the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Exceptional organizational skills and a genuine interest in working with people are key attributes for success in this role. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, and a high level of attention to detail, as well as a policy and procedure-oriented mindset.
