About the position

The HR/Payroll Manager at Azria Health Park Place is responsible for overseeing the office functions related to human resources and payroll management. This role includes managing accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and maintaining resident and employee files. The HR/Payroll Manager will also provide assistance to the Administrator, ensuring that the office operates smoothly and efficiently while supporting the overall mission of delivering quality care to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage office functions including accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Maintain resident and employee files for the community.
  • Provide assistance to the Administrator as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health requirements and background checks.
  • Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Two-year degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Office is required.
  • Solid mathematical skills and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary.
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in payroll management in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
