About the position

The Human Resource Specialist role is focused on managing the recruitment process, onboarding new hires, and supporting various HR functions within the organization. This position requires a strong emphasis on compliance, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment process for exempt, non-exempt, student, and temporary staff, ensuring smooth coordination from job postings to hiring.
• Support resume reviews, interviews, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, guiding them through a detailed review of benefits, policies, and employment agreements while ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
• Contribute to HR system upgrades and improvements, participating in system testing, troubleshooting, and rollout of new features and patches within the HRMS platform.
• Support leave administration and employee benefits communication, assisting employees in navigating leave policies, benefit options, and eligibility requirements.
• Maintain employee records and generate reports through the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate tracking and timely data delivery for internal requests.
• Coordinate tuition reimbursement and salary level adjustments, ensuring employees understand requirements and submission procedures for education benefits.
• Manage the workers' compensation process, liaising between employees, providers, and insurers to ensure efficient claim resolution and policy compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in HR, Recruitment, Resume review, Interviews, Reference Checks, Offer Negotiation, Onboarding, HRMS Platform, and HRIS Platform.
• Proven expertise in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
