About the position

The Human Resource Specialist position is a 6-month contract role with the potential for extension, primarily focused on staff deployment, applicant management, and payroll accounting. The specialist will be responsible for organizing and implementing staff movements, relocations, terminations, and changes in pay, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role involves consulting with employees and superiors regarding career opportunities, personnel development, and salary matters, while also maintaining up-to-date staff master data in the SAP system and creating staff files. In addition to staff deployment, the specialist will manage the applicant process by preparing job advertisements based on staff requirements, tracking applicants, and conducting structured interviews. They will also explain employment conditions to applicants and coordinate travel arrangements as per company policy. The role requires entering and updating training data in the SAP event management system or other databases. Payroll accounting is another critical area of responsibility, where the specialist will determine and prescribe data for automatic payroll accounting, analyze and prepare payment documents, and manage staff data relevant for payroll in the SAP system. The specialist will also be involved in clarifying contract extensions, coordinating temporary workers, and advising superiors and employees on staff administration and employee relations issues. Additionally, the role includes supporting expatriates and foreign employees with immigration issues and performing general office work for the responsible superior.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and implement staff movement, relocation, and terminations based on defined criteria.
  • Consult with employees and superiors regarding career opportunities and personnel development.
  • Maintain up-to-date staff master data in the SAP system and create staff files.
  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process and send appraisals to superiors.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee absences and forward information to the responsible superior.
  • Prepare job advertisements and manage applicant tracking.
  • Conduct structured interviews and consult with superiors on hiring decisions.
  • Explain employment conditions to applicants and coordinate their travel.
  • Determine data for automatic payroll accounting and analyze payment documents.
  • Record and manage staff data relevant for payroll in the SAP system.
  • Clarify contract extensions and coordinate the use of temporary workers.
  • Advise superiors and employees on staff administration and employee relations issues.
  • Support administrative processing of expatriates and immigration issues.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Notes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP modules
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience as an Industrial Clerk
