About the position

As the Human Resources Manager at Aramark, you will play a pivotal role in providing HR generalist support for the Corporate functional staff and Centers of Excellence (COE). This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the management and administration of essential HR processes that are critical to the organization’s success. You will be the point of contact for various HR initiatives, ensuring that employee engagement and talent acquisition strategies are effectively implemented and monitored. Your role will involve addressing issue resolution, following up on corporate COE inquiries, and providing recommendations based on your findings. This includes responding to hotline calls, conducting investigations, and offering corrective action and performance management consulting. You will also be responsible for interpreting company policies and ensuring that they are communicated effectively across the organization. In addition to these responsibilities, you will coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including the development of Engagement Action Plans and corporate celebration activities. You will also serve as the point of contact for talent acquisition programs, specifically the Accelerate to Leadership and Step up to Leadership initiatives. Your analytical skills will be put to use in HR metrics reporting and analysis, as well as providing assistance with benefits and payroll as needed. Furthermore, you will oversee onboarding programs and initiatives to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the company.

Responsibilities

  • Issue resolution, follow up and recommendations for corporate COE's including hotline calls response, investigation and follow-up, corrective action/performance management consulting, and policy interpretation.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including Engagement Action Plan development and corporate celebration activities.
  • Serve as the point of contact for talent acquisition programs, specifically Accelerate to Leadership and Step up to Leadership.
  • Conduct HR metrics reporting and analysis.
  • Provide benefits and payroll assistance as needed.
  • Oversee onboarding programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • HR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent is ideal.
  • Employment relations experience including conducting investigations and resolution development is required.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis.
  • Strong analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to train and make presentations is required.
  • Solid understanding of financial and business objectives and analytical/problem solving skills is necessary.
  • Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must take initiative to improve processes as needed.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
