About the position

YouthBuild Philly is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to empower young people through education, job training, and leadership development. The Program Coordinator will oversee program implementation, manage participant engagement, and collaborate with community partners to ensure the success of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement program activities for youth participants.
• Manage participant recruitment and retention efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and participant progress.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for youth.
• Assist in the development of program materials and resources.
• Provide support and guidance to youth participants in their personal and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field.
• Experience working with youth in educational or community settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in program development and evaluation.
• Knowledge of workforce development and job training programs.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
