About the position

The Human Resource Strategist position at A P Ventures is a temporary role focused on leading a short-term project aimed at enhancing the learning and development component of the client's organization. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion. The strategist will be responsible for developing a detailed project plan that includes timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills and extensive experience in requirement gathering, as well as a strong ability to coordinate with various stakeholders. In this role, the strategist will conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, translating these requirements into actionable tasks and deliverables. They will act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings and communication to keep everyone informed of project progress and any changes. The strategist will also collaborate closely with team members, including a Training Specialist and SharePoint Developer, to ensure seamless project execution and foster a supportive team environment. Additionally, the strategist will be responsible for preparing and presenting regular project status reports to the Learning and Development Manager and other key stakeholders, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and documenting lessons learned for future reference. They will assist in developing training materials and provide support to the Learning and Development team to ensure effective implementation of project outcomes. This role is crucial for ensuring that the project aligns with the client's objectives and delivers high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Establish clear project milestones and deadlines.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the project timeline.
  • Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Document and analyze requirements to ensure they are clear, comprehensive, and feasible.
  • Translate requirements into actionable tasks and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and any changes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are addressed throughout the project.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Learning and Development Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and requirement specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
