About the position

The Human Resources Administrator/Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing and overseeing the Human Resources functions for the bank while also providing executive administrative support to senior management. This role involves a variety of tasks including the development of employee policies, administration of payroll and benefits, recruitment, and training, as well as high-level administrative duties such as scheduling and correspondence management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Employee Personnel handbook.
  • Ensure equitable treatment of employees in accordance with the handbook.
  • Administer wage and salary functions, including job descriptions and organizational charts.
  • Set up onboarding packets for new employees and termination packets for departing employees.
  • Participate in community events to attract future candidates.
  • Oversee the bank's internship program and monitor intern success.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the return of bank property from departing employees.
  • Administer the iSolved Payroll system for employee information and payroll processing.
  • Write and maintain job descriptions with supervisor input.
  • Oversee employee benefits and assist with benefit issues.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of employee files in compliance with regulations.
  • Administer the 401K plan and manage COBRA and FMLA administration.
  • Manage the merit review program and performance appraisals.
  • Support supervisors with employee engagement and advancement.
  • Handle inquiries from outside sources regarding employees.
  • Assist with the discipline process and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure proper coverage for vacation and illness in departments.
  • Prepare the personnel portion of the annual budget.
  • Conduct annual reporting for various compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate special projects related to personnel functions.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management executives.
  • Conduct research and prepare statistical reports for executives.
  • Function as the Training Administrator and manage employee training needs.
  • Assist with shareholder items and maintain shareholder information.
  • Coordinate Bank Board of Directors meetings and annual meetings.
  • Monitor bank policies for annual updates.
  • Backup for the iSolved payroll system and produce reports as needed.
  • Compile reports and assist with contract management.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality regulations.
  • Ability to use common office software programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with iSolved Payroll system.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes.
