• Review position descriptions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with relevant personnel.
• Participate in salary surveys and compile statistical data for reports.
• Assist agency personnel with Civil Service rules and department policies.
• Schedule interviews and screen applications for eligibility.
• Monitor and maintain records of employee training courses.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree or six years of full-time work experience in any field as a substitute.
• Ability to communicate effectively and relay information appropriately.
• Customer service orientation and ability to focus on client needs.
• Ability to make accurate judgments based on relevant information.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a human resources professional with a state of Louisiana agency.
• Familiarity with LaGov/HCM systems.
