About the position

The Human Resources Analyst B - Specialist (Data Quality Management) position is located in the Headquarters Human Resources Section of the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). This role is responsible for managing the HR Data Quality Management (DQM) Program across six offices within the agency, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and laws while providing excellent customer service. The incumbent will audit personnel actions and pay changes, implement improvement plans, and evaluate results to enhance program effectiveness. Extensive knowledge of LaGov HCM and NeoGov/LA Careers systems is essential for maintaining data integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the DOTD HR Data Quality Management (DQM) Program for the agency's six offices.
  • Audit all personnel actions and pay changes entered in LaGov HCM and authorized actions in NeoGov/LA Careers system.
  • Ensure compliance with DOTD policies, Civil Service rules, and Federal and State laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing data quality.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree plus one year of professional level human resources experience.
  • Six years of full-time work experience in any field may substitute for the required baccalaureate degree.
  • A Master's in relevant fields can substitute for the required experience.
  • Possession of a Juris Doctorate or a Ph.D. in relevant fields can substitute for the required experience.
  • Certification by SHRM as PHR, SPHR, CP, or SCP can substitute for the required experience.
