About the position

The HR Analyst is a critical role within BrightSpring Health Services, responsible for supporting operational data needs across various HR applications. This position is fully remote and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs at an expert level. The HR Analyst will be tasked with ongoing reporting of information and ensuring data integrity by regularly monitoring and auditing systems. This role involves leading various data-related initiatives for the assigned region, which includes analyzing HR data, providing HR and business-related recommendations, and leading actions to improve HR processes. In this position, the HR Analyst will analyze HR data to identify trends and develop actionable plans in collaboration with HR and operational leadership. The analyst will provide analytical reporting for multiple programs and projects, including grants and SEIU state requirements. They will be responsible for developing and presenting reports, communicating key findings to HR and management, and providing payroll processing and reporting support as needed. This includes ensuring data integrity by monitoring and analyzing ongoing payroll reports and correcting errors in a timely manner. The HR Analyst will also track and report on Cumulative Career Hours (CCH), perform accurate data entry for all terminations and changes in employment status, and lead monthly union reporting for assigned states or regions, ensuring adherence to all reporting deadlines and compliance requirements. Additionally, the analyst will monitor and lead initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems, provide recommendations to optimize HR processes based on data analysis, and serve as a liaison with collective bargaining units regarding union-sponsored health, leave, and retirement benefit programs. The role also involves coordinating with operational HR team members to ensure smooth and efficient business HR operations, conducting research to support HR initiatives, assisting in designing and implementing employee feedback surveys, and handling special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and develop action plans in partnership with HR and Operational Leadership.
  • Provide analytical reporting for multiple programs and projects, including grants and SEIU state requirements.
  • Develop and present reports and communicate key findings to HR and management.
  • Provide payroll processing and reporting support as needed, ensuring data integrity by monitoring and analyzing ongoing payroll reports and correcting errors timely.
  • Track and report on Cumulative Career Hours (CCH) including entering appropriate step changes in salary for affected sites.
  • Perform accurate data entry for all terminations and changes in employment status for assigned area.
  • Lead monthly union reporting for assigned states and/or region, ensuring adherence to all reporting deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and lead initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize HR processes based on data analysis.
  • Serve as Liaison with collective bargaining units regarding union-sponsored health, leave, and retirement benefit programs, and manage grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate with operational HR team members to ensure smooth and efficient business HR operations.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support HR initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in designing and implementing surveys to gather employee feedback.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, Minimum of Associate degree in human resources, organizational development, business management, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years previous HR experience; benefits and leave, including regulatory leave and accommodations, background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of human resources and understanding of the human services industry valued.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within own group and cross-functionally to achieve goals.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to problems and challenges, using good judgment in difficult situations.
  • Capacity to solve problems independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain several projects and priorities concurrently.
