About the position
The Human Resources and Employee Engagement Assistant at Woodhouse Spa will support Spa Leadership in various HR functions, including recruiting, hiring, training, and special events. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth operational flow across four local spa locations, contributing to a positive work environment and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruiting process, ensuring candidates are reviewed, contacted, and scheduled for interviews and training.
- Support the hiring process from paperwork to onboarding activities, coordinating training and follow-up meetings.
- Learn and understand spa software systems to assist with operations.
- Help with spa operations and special events, filling in with guest services and vendor training as needed.
- Prepare all hiring materials for first-day meetings at spa locations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a professional administrative role, day spa, hotel/hospitality, retail management, or project management position.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Organizational skills and ability to work as a team player.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
