Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Director and Chief HR Officer in employee policy and procedure decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws, and ensure compliance.
  • Advise management on employment actions in accordance with laws and policies.
  • Manage the human resource information systems database and ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and communicate information to employees.
  • Represent the company in unemployment claims.
  • Support the annual review and administration of the Wage Administration Program.
  • Create and maintain personnel records and files for all employees.
  • Assist Department Managers with HR responsibilities.
  • Process preliminary screening of applicants and conduct new-employee orientations.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and OSHA records.
  • Prepare and maintain required personnel reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2 years of HR experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in Senior Living preferred.

Nice-to-haves
