This position involves collaborating with the Executive Director and Chief HR Officer to ensure compliance with HR policies and laws, managing employee benefits, and supporting recruitment and orientation processes. The HR Manager will also handle employee relations, maintain personnel records, and manage workers' compensation claims, contributing to a positive work environment and effective HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director and Chief HR Officer in employee policy and procedure decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws, and ensure compliance.
• Advise management on employment actions in accordance with laws and policies.
• Manage the human resource information systems database and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Administer employee benefit programs and communicate information to employees.
• Represent the company in unemployment claims.
• Support the annual review and administration of the Wage Administration Program.
• Create and maintain personnel records and files for all employees.
• Assist Department Managers with HR responsibilities.
• Process preliminary screening of applicants and conduct new-employee orientations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and OSHA records.
• Prepare and maintain required personnel reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 2 years of HR experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.
