About the position

The Human Resources and Staffing Coordinator at Willow Grove Post Acute is responsible for managing staffing levels, coordinating schedules, and facilitating employee engagement activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that the facility maintains appropriate staffing and nursing care while supporting a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and gain support from staff/employee relations.
  • Ensure facility has appropriate levels of staffing and nursing care at all times.
  • Complete monthly nursing schedule, coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
  • Complete and post work sheets/time schedules.
  • Coordinate variances with the DNS.
  • Extend job offers to applicants, completing new hire paperwork as well as planning and facilitating orientation every week.
  • Manage terminations including working with Administration in the grievance process.
  • Maintain nursing license renewals.
  • Organize and facilitate employee engagement activities within the facility.
  • Perform daily administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator or Scheduler and Payroll within a nursing center or healthcare setting.
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage, and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
