About the position

The Workplace Experience Generalist (HR Generalist) at Hanbury is responsible for enhancing the talent acquisition process across multiple office locations. This role focuses on finding, attracting, selecting, and onboarding team members who will contribute to the firm's success. The position emphasizes building a positive candidate experience, managing applicant pipelines, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage applicant pipelines for talent acquisition.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate systems that create a positive candidate experience and enhance the employer brand.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to streamline the hiring process.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting partners and lead campus recruiting efforts.
  • Ensure Office Leaders follow the onboarding plan and assist with any necessary adjustments.
  • Act as an employer brand ambassador, ensuring accurate representation of the firm to candidates.
  • Create campaigns to meet diversity hiring goals and maintain compliance with employment laws.
  • Collaborate with the Director of People Operations to understand information system requirements and assist with system selection.
  • Manage recruitment budgets and employment visas/foreign sponsorships.
  • Stay updated on trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources and talent management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience sourcing candidates and managing the applicant pipeline.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a hybrid work environment with remote teams.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating internship and campus recruiting events.
  • Expertise in Applicant Tracking and Sourcing Systems, including social media.
  • Knowledge of the employment work visa process, including F1-OPT, H1-B, and Perm process.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in sourcing hard-to-find candidates in the field of architecture or related fields.
