This role is essential in supporting the HR department in executing various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees. The primary responsibilities include processing employee lifecycle transactions, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed, and providing information to employees and managers regarding established HR processes and policies. The HR Assistant will also refer issues to HR Consultants as needed and assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of post-employment offer paperwork, including I-9 verification using the E-verification system. In addition to these tasks, the HR Assistant will support post-employment drug screening, background screening, and random programs. They will be responsible for preparing employment forms and maintaining them on the Corporate Intranet system for use by managers and employees. The role also involves assisting with benefits administration and wellness programs, document control, and processing verification of employment requests in accordance with established guidelines. Administrative support for the Human Resources Department is a key aspect of this position, which includes preparing reports and correspondence as directed and performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and administrative skills, experience in handling confidential information, and the ability to monitor and proctor state license exams. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and One Source is essential for tracking and monitoring data effectively. Daily duties will involve using OneSource to monitor self-study course completions, utilizing Microsoft Excel to track licensing results and scores, and communicating with leaders via Microsoft Outlook regarding student progress. The HR Assistant will also play a vital role in welcoming new hires and ensuring they are properly oriented during their first week of employment, as well as maintaining professional communication with students and leaders throughout the onboarding process.
