About the position

The Human Resources Benefits Coordinator at Prime Healthcare Management Inc. is responsible for administering health plans and managing employee benefits within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations such as FMLA and CFRA, as well as overseeing the 401k plan administration and handling benefit-related inquiries from employees. Responsibilities

  • Administer all health plans for employees.
  • Obtain appropriate medical certifications and send necessary correspondence.
  • Communicate with employees regarding FMLA, CFRA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Oversee 401k plan administration.
  • Track benefits deductions in HRIS and make necessary adjustments.
  • Reconcile and process payments for monthly benefit invoices.
  • Send communications regarding benefit updates and changes.
  • Answer all benefit-related questions from employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of experience in benefit administration required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience coordinating employee benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage.
