About the position

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Russell Landscape, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals. This position involves collaborating with the VP of People to provide strategic HR support, manage employee relations, and lead initiatives in onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning. Your contributions will be essential in fostering a positive and high-performance culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement seamless onboarding experiences, especially through mergers & acquisitions.
• Align HR strategies with business objectives and support business leaders with employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning.
• Drive goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to promote employee growth and business success.
• Handle employee issues with fairness and consistency, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decisions, reporting on turnover, engagement, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, manage driver processes, and lead drug testing for accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 5 years of HR experience.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with leaders and employees.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the commercial landscaping or service industry is a plus.
