About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at CPI Security will play a crucial role in supporting field teams in Charlotte, North Carolina, and across the Carolinas. This strategic position focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational performance. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to management, ensuring effective talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Drive talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and develop high-potential employees and succession plans.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers on effective performance management techniques.
  • Assess training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitate training sessions on various HR topics, including compliance, leadership, and team building.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies across the region.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support a compliant and equitable workplace.
  • Utilize HR metrics to track performance and identify trends, making data-driven decisions to improve HR practices.
  • Prepare reports for leadership to highlight key HR metrics and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the security, home services or related industry is a plus.
