About the position

The HR Business Partner role at Microsoft AI is pivotal in leading the HR squad for the Copilot and AI teams. This position focuses on architecting, developing, and executing HR strategies across the employee lifecycle, ensuring high performance and collaboration within the teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating empathy, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail while adapting to ambiguity and fostering a culture of inclusion and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute various people solutions across the employee, DRI, and manager life cycle.
  • Design and run the squad talent movement approach to ensure necessary capabilities are in place.
  • Establish self-organized squads with empowered motions such as team charters and feedback loops.
  • Support the development of a feedback culture within teams to enhance high-performance practices.
  • Create a high-touch onboarding approach to accelerate employee experiences and readiness.
  • Ensure individual performance within squads is captured and shared with direct managers for coaching and talent movement discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management) OR Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes.
  • Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CIPD).
  • 3+ years experience partnering with a wide network of clients across human resources to deliver effective business solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 8+ years experience in human resources or related processes.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in human resources or related processes.
