About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner at Compassus is responsible for embodying the company's core values and promoting a positive work environment. This role involves consulting with leadership on organizational design, development, and compliance with corporate policies, while also addressing human resources issues and driving company-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy, organization development, rewards, and culture.
  • Directs the efforts of others in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
  • Identifies and shares root causes of human resources issues with relevant HR functions.
  • Scans and benchmarks the marketplace to identify best practices and trends.
  • Acts as a strategic business partner and change agent.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates team members for efficient operation.
  • Develops and drives company-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Manages escalations and dispute resolutions through company policies.
  • Triages team member concerns and ensures proper documentation and resolution.
  • Provides guidance and coaching on pay practices.
  • Reports performance metrics for the HR team.
  • Responds to subpoenas and requests from external entities.
  • Interfaces with outside vendors and coordinates with internal departments.
  • Responsible for project management coordination related to HR initiatives.
  • Follows up on team member benefit issues and audits throughout the year.
  • Creates, edits, and tracks employment documents and forms.
  • Recommends new approaches and policies for departmental efficiency.
  • Performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources highly preferred.
  • Five to seven years of HR or healthcare back office experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
