About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a vital role in supporting Green Thumb's production facilities as the company scales rapidly and sustainably. This position focuses on aligning HR strategies with business objectives, executing HR programs, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HRBP will work closely with site leadership to address talent management, employee relations, change management, and compliance, ensuring that the organization meets its local and national goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps and strategize with business leaders to maximize team performance.
  • Support the implementation of new solutions to close talent gaps and build bench strength.
  • Assist in enhancing company culture related to employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
  • Serve as a confidential resource for employees and managers regarding employee relations issues.
  • Lead change management initiatives and assist with communication plans to mitigate risks.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships across the organization to support growth and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and manage leave policies for employees.
  • Support project management initiatives and process improvements across various HR functions.
  • Manage administrative routines including new hire orientation and employee data maintenance.
  • Report safety incidents and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development required.
  • 7+ years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting a large population of hourly employees and working in union environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to integrate HR and business strategies with a strong business acumen.

Nice-to-haves

  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.
  • Experience in a production or distribution environment.
