About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner at Lennox plays a crucial role in supporting both hourly and salaried employees across various functions. This position involves collaborating with HR teammates to develop customer-focused solutions, managing complex employee-related matters, and driving recruiting efforts. The HR Business Partner will also engage in various HR functions including compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations, while upholding the company's core values and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Support both hourly and salaried employees across various functions as a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  • Collaborate with HR teammates to develop customer-focused solutions and recommendations for management.
  • Handle complex employee-related matters with sensitivity and fairness while upholding the Code of Conduct and Core Values.
  • Drive recruiting efforts for high-volume hourly, skilled trades, and salary hiring, including conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
  • Anticipate long-term HR needs while managing day-to-day requirements effectively.
  • Engage in review, communication, and driving results related to compensation, benefits, performance management, training, compliance, data analytics, and employee relations.
  • Assist managers and supervisors with job evaluations, talent management, and accommodations.
  • Provide coaching and resolution for employee work-related issues, following HR policies and practices.
  • Conduct employee orientations and contribute to trainings.
  • Analyze data and prepare recommendations for various projects.
  • Provide excellent employee service with timely and accurate responses to HR inquiries.
  • Manage formal complaints from intake through investigation to finalizing summary and outcome.
  • May provide guidance to lower-level staff.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • HR Degree preferred.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience is necessary.
  • Proficient in HR techniques, applications, and programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations.
  • Experience managing accommodation requests.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR regulations and maintaining compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improving workflow efficiency and successfully implement changes.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
