About the position
The Human Resources Co-op/Intern position at Honda for Summer 2025 offers college students a hands-on, project-based experience in various HR departments. Responsibilities
- Participate in daily Associate Relations activities with AR team members.
- Provide customer service on general information regarding Benefits and HR Systems.
- Conduct information sharing meetings regarding company programs.
- Perform Leave of Absence audits.
- Support various projects surrounding internal partnering with various Honda divisions.
- Research best practices in competency management and mentor program set-up.
- Support research and analysis activities regarding benefit plan design.
- Evaluate best Payroll practices and support the development of operation standards and training resources.
- Present findings to management.
Requirements
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher.
- Class status - Sophomore (by credit hour) or above.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program studying Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day.
