About the position

The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining accurate personnel records. This position involves processing various HR-related paperwork and assisting employees with their inquiries, contributing to a smooth and efficient HR operation within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process new hire paperwork and background checks.
  • Coordinate drug screens and complete the I9/E-Verify.
  • Process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and other changes with appropriate approvals in the HRIS.
  • Maintain licensure and certification reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards.
  • Process evaluations and keep personnel records up to date.
  • Assist with hospital recognition programs and address general Human Resources questions from employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills required.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
