About the position

The HR Coordinator - Talent Acquisition and Employee Lifecycle at Cornerstone Systems, Inc. is responsible for managing the recruiting and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires from application to orientation. This role involves conducting new hire orientations, assisting employees with benefits enrollment, and completing I-9 verifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail while supporting various HR tasks such as record-keeping, compliance, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates across various departments.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring employees are informed of all company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate the completion of all necessary paperwork, including I-9 verifications and benefits enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system (Paycor), ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with employee offboarding, including conducting exit interviews and completing necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company-wide events to promote a positive work culture.
  • Assist in managing employee relations by responding to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support the team in the preparation of reports, tracking metrics related to turnover, performance, and other key HR indicators.
  • Help manage payroll-related queries and ensure accurate employee records for time-off and compensation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources on special projects that drive HR process improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR or recruiting, with a focus on talent acquisition and onboarding, preferably in logistics, sales, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (experience with Paycor is a plus but not required).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
