About the position

The Human Resources Coordinator at AdvanceCare Health Services is a full-time, remote position aimed at supporting HR functions within the organization. This entry-level role involves onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a basic understanding of HR concepts, with opportunities for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the hiring process by ensuring candidates complete the pre-employment screens
  • Administer pre-employment tests and background screen requests
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
  • Orienting new employees to the organization
  • Preparing new employee files
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
  • Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
  • Ensuring background and reference checks
  • Assists in maintaining confidential human resources records
  • Ensures compliance in various self-audit
  • Support training and development initiatives for staff members
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be able to prioritize, and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of office computer applications
  • Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others
  • Must possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal
  • Must be flexible and organized
  • Ability to maintain effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform essential job functions above

Nice-to-haves

  • High school or equivalent education (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience with Google Suite (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Recruiting (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Caregiving (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Staffing (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Home care (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
