About The Position
The Salvation Army Midland Division is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This full-time position, based at 1130 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, MO, involves a variety of essential functions aimed at supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes within the organization. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for posting vacant positions, collaborating with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, and conducting new hire orientations. This role is crucial in maintaining personnel files and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. In this position, the Human Resources Coordinator will create and post job opportunities on The Salvation Army's website and other platforms as directed by hiring managers. The individual will employ creative strategies to attract qualified candidates and will track active job postings to maintain positive momentum in the recruitment process. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide guidance to hiring managers regarding recruitment procedures and assist candidates with inquiries about company benefits. Tracking candidate progress during onboarding and following up to motivate completion of necessary documents are also key responsibilities. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills, capable of communicating effectively and maintaining confidentiality. The Human Resources Coordinator will also prepare standard actions and agenda items for the weekly Divisional Finance Board, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
