About the position

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the administrative functions of the Human Resources department, including procedures and policies, billing, reporting, data entry, and special projects as assigned. This role supports various HR functions and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining confidentiality and accurate personnel records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all areas and functions within the Human Resources department.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, providing assistance or redirecting calls and correspondence to the appropriate party.
  • Assist with benefits, payroll functions, and billing, along with all associated reconciliation and reporting.
  • Support all internal time-off inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain Labor Law Posters and Employee Handbook state addendums.
  • Maintain Bank Notary program.
  • Provide administrative support for hiring, transfers, terminations, and other employee changes, as outlined on the Employee Life Cycle spreadsheet.
  • Coordinate and execute monthly/quarterly audit trail reports.
  • Manage monthly Senior Leadership presentation schedule.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel records, ensuring that rules concerning confidentiality and retention are strictly followed.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months to 2 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent preferred, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential data.
