About the position

The Employee Management Associate/AVP at Bank of China is responsible for coordinating and conducting various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. This role involves advising on bank policies and procedures while managing ad hoc projects to support the HR department's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing, evaluating, developing and maintaining the Bank's staffing needs.
  • Perform full cycle recruitment activities including creating job postings, sourcing, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain up to date records of the recruiting process including resumes received and interviews conducted.
  • Conduct the new hire onboarding program by providing introductory presentations and collecting required documents.
  • Collaborate with Payroll team to manage information in personnel folders/files/database.
  • Facilitate employee termination processes and document all termination notifications and communications.
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures within the Bank's risk framework and escalate any potential violations.
  • Support periodic audits by providing documentation evidence.
  • Participate and manage departmental/bank-wide ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Human Resources or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
  • For Associate level, 1-3 years of HR related experience required; for AVP level, at least 4 years of HR related experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and writing is a must.
  • Bilingual ability in Mandarin is highly preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
