About the position

The Human Resources Director will oversee and lead the Human Resources Department, ensuring efficient coordination and implementation of personnel management strategies. This role involves partnering with the leadership team to develop talent strategies, managing the talent acquisition process, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The Director will also be responsible for developing a high-functioning HR and recruiting team, contributing to organizational success, and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and staff on complex HR issues.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment and hiring for executive and managerial roles.
  • Develop and implement new employee orientation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement organizational training on labor relations topics.
  • Manage the HRIS system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Research and propose competitive salary and incentive pay programs.
  • Oversee the disciplinary and investigation process and advise management on employee relations issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices in human resources and employment law.
  • Administer the performance review program for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Develop and administer organizational benefits programs.
  • Conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner and adhere to organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-driven attitude with the ability to meet organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS Applicant Tracking Systems.
