About the position

The Human Resources Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. This full-time position involves addressing employee concerns and promoting organizational integrity within the credit union's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive workplace environment.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Implement and uphold internal HR policies.
  • Assist in employee relations initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in human resources or related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience; 3-5 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations/compliance.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or other HR Certification.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
