About the position

As a Human Resources ESO Clerk at Six Flags Over Georgia, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Employee Services Office. This part-time position offers a starting pay of $14 per hour and requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Your primary responsibilities will include managing incoming phone calls with professionalism, maintaining accurate records for Seasonal Team Members, and ensuring compliance with park policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for handling discrepancies in Seasonal Payroll and accounting for various ticket types, including Season Passes and Complimentary Tickets. Conducting audits for compliance with park standards and assisting with various HR-related events will also be part of your duties. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all incoming phone calls are handled promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain Seasonal Team Member files accurately.
  • Ensure accurate clocking in and out procedures for all Seasonal Team Members.
  • Handle discrepancies with Seasonal Payroll accurately.
  • Account for all Season Passes, One Day Tickets, and Complimentary Tickets by maintaining manual and electronic logs.
  • Conduct periodic audits for compliance with park and corporate standards.
  • Enforce park policies and procedures fairly and without bias.
  • Assist with Wardrobe, Training, and Team Member events as needed.
  • Monitor compliance of 15-year-old employees regarding hours worked.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the Employee Services Office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Theme Park / Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
  • Outgoing personality with developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong sense of initiative.
  • Ability to tolerate frequent interruptions while staying focused.
