About the position

The Human Resources Generalist/Benefits Administrator will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits and related HR functions for a national wholesale distributor. This newly created position involves collaborating with payroll to oversee benefits administration, tracking employee leaves, and handling onboarding and offboarding tasks for approximately 1000 employees across nine western states. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to manage a high volume of data, with opportunities for professional growth within the HR department.

Responsibilities

  • Track employee leave data and communicate with payroll.
  • Manage data related to employee salary reviews, raises, and annual bonuses for payroll implementation.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with the preparation of various reports.
  • Manage the benefits-related onboarding and offboarding process, interfacing with carriers as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with high volume data management related to employee benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong data management skills, particularly in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a corporate HR environment.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration processes.
