About the position

As a Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual) at NSA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce and culture of our organization. This position is designed for individuals who are not only detail-oriented but also possess a strong people-oriented approach. You will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations run smoothly by managing various HR functions. Your role will involve consulting with top management on strategic planning and business administration, which will be crucial for the overall growth and sustainability of the company. You will oversee employee relations, ensuring that all staff members feel supported and valued, while also maximizing our profitability through effective HR practices. In this role, you will be tasked with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training qualified candidates who can contribute positively to our organization. You will act as a liaison between employees and management, providing guidance on important issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures, as well as advising on potential improvements to these policies. You will also play a key role in advising on organizational policies, decision-making processes, and strategic planning initiatives, including business administration and the annual budget. Additionally, you will ensure that all internal documents, paperwork, reports, and records are accurate and up-to-date. To enhance the hiring experience for applicants, you will hold Job Fairs and Open Houses, ensuring that new hires have a seamless onboarding process. Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and train qualified candidates who would be assets to our organization
  • Liaise between employees and managers and advise on pertinent issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements
  • Advise on key organizational policies, decision-making, and strategic planning initiatives including business administration and annual budget
  • Ensure internal documents, paperwork, reports, and records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Hold Job Fairs/Open Houses to enhance the hiring experience of our applicants and ensure new hires go through the onboarding process

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Mid-level experience in human resources or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
