About the position

TTI, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with a focus on employee relations to support the North American Sales team. This role is pivotal in driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws, and enhancing performance management through effective coaching and guidance. The HR Generalist will serve as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries and will work closely with management to foster a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and issues.
  • Promote a positive employee relations environment through regular communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on appropriate courses of action to resolve concerns and minimize risk.
  • Ensure consistent application and adherence to HR policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Communicate and interpret policies/procedures to managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Work with Sales leadership to set performance goals and provide feedback.
  • Administer the Corrective Action/Performance Management Process fairly and consistently.
  • Monitor and track performance metrics and address performance issues as needed.
  • Gather documentation and recommend involuntary separations to the HR Business Partner.
  • Assist in identifying HR training needs and support the implementation of training programs.
  • Perform special programs/projects as assigned, such as compliance-related reporting and job description development.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, with a focus on employee relations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Certification from SHRM or HRCI is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a sales environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance-related reporting.
