About the position

The HR Generalist at Peterson Health plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department across various functions with minimal supervision. This position is integral to the smooth operation of HR activities, which may include coordinating volunteer efforts, managing recruitment processes, overseeing integrated absence management, and administering total rewards programs. The HR Generalist is also responsible for fostering positive employee relations and ensuring that company policies and practices are designed, implemented, and enforced effectively. This role requires conducting research as assigned and preparing comprehensive reports on findings to support HR initiatives. Additionally, the HR Generalist provides essential support to employees, addressing their inquiries and concerns to enhance their experience within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate volunteer efforts and recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an HRIS is preferred.
  • HR certification is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare HR is preferred.
