About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Third Way will support a wide range of HR tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. This role involves participating in recruitment, onboarding, and managing HR inquiries, while also contributing to the development of the company's talent pipeline and improving sourcing tactics. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in various HR functions and requires strong communication and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment by managing job postings, identifying candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and creating employment contracts.
  • Perform orientations and onboarding for new employees and interns, ensuring a positive welcome and support.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data such as payroll, personal information, leaves, and turnover rates.
  • Prepare and produce reports on general HR activity and relevant metrics.
  • Suggest ideas to motivate employees through wellness events and programs.
  • Manage the HR calendar by scheduling meetings and HR events, and maintain the team's agenda.
  • Assist in the implementation, collection, and organization of employee feedback from surveys.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources coordination, administration, or a relevant field.
  • Good judgment and ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity and Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with employee wellness programs.
  • Knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.
