About the position

The Human Resources Generalist I position is a first-level professional role within the Mississippi State Hospital (MSH) that focuses on various human resources functions. This position is accountable for performing professional duties under direct supervision, acting as an adviser in one or more areas of human resources. The responsibilities include managing agency human resources programs, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection, classification, salary analysis, benefits, appointments, and performance evaluation. In addition to the core HR functions, the Human Resources Generalist I may be tasked with preparing reports that can be utilized by managers and Statewide HR for managing human resources costs effectively. Responsibilities

Requirements
