About the position

The Human Resources Generalist II at Loomis Armored US, LLC is responsible for managing daily HR functions across various branches, including orientation, compensation, and policy enforcement. This role involves professional-level HR work in areas such as staffing, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws, ensuring effective HR operations and support for employees and management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department for various branches within their District.
  • Assesses company policies, programs, and procedures, informing employees and management on their interpretation.
  • Facilitates the timely hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions in collaboration with department managers.
  • Analyzes and provides advice to supervisors and managers on resolving employee work problems.
  • Maintains employee records ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee information and pay rates.
  • Supervises the training of new hires for orientation and may conduct new hire orientation.
  • Administers HR programs including DayForce maintenance, leaves, terminations, and exit interviews.
  • Handles employee disputes and investigations with oversight from the District HR Manager.
  • Maintains compliance with HR Audit requirements and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Participates in Unemployment requirements documentation and hearings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR related experience and proven HR applied proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential situations professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to present professional presentations via various media formats.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the Ceridian DayForce systems.
