About the position
Are you a personable, organized HR professional looking to make a difference in a family-owned manufacturing business driven by their values? Our people are our difference here at Orbel so having the right Human Resources Generalist is key to our success. This is a part-time, 3 days per week, onsite role at our state-of-the-art facility in Easton, PA.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance ensuring alignment with the company's core values, vision, and mission.
- Handle the entire employee life cycle from recruiting and onboarding through to benefits, performance management, etc.
- Recruiting and onboarding of new employees
- Delivering HR and monitoring company training programs
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Benefits administration
- Compensation analysis
- Performance management
- Update and maintain job descriptions
Requirements
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience
- ADP Workforce Now preferred or other HRIS experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Safety-focused with ability to support a safe and compliant workplace
- Demonstrated ability to develop employee trust and engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to drive continuous improvement for yourself and the organization
- Bilingual - ability to read and speak Spanish a plus!
