About The Position

Saint Ignatius High School is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to oversee various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance. This role is crucial in enhancing the employee experience and supporting the school's goals, working closely with faculty and staff. The position is full-time, salaried, and operates year-round, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance or Accounting
• 3-5 years payroll processing experience
• Strong understanding of Human Resources best practices, employment law and compliance
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Frontline Education, preferred
• Advanced computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suites
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity

Responsibilities

• Ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner following internal controls
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings and resume screening
• Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
• Provide support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
• Identify and implement process improvements
