About the position

The Human Resources Generalist, Talent Acquisition at JBSS is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions at the corporate office. This role encompasses new hire orientations, internship program coordination, and serving as a point of contact for employee relations and HR support needs.

Responsibilities

  • Directly recruit for all corporate office and operations leadership positions.
  • Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers.
  • Review resumes and proactively source talent using internet job portals.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, seeking feedback, and manage the corporate applicant tracking process in UKG.
  • Extend job offers and keep all related parties updated with regular check-ins.
  • Facilitate onboarding by informing relevant parties about new hires.
  • Align hiring managers on 30-60-90 day check-in items.
  • Deliver new hire orientations and conduct post-hire check-ins with employees.
  • Serve as the point of contact for assigned departments on all employee relations and human resources support needs.
  • Engage recruiting firm partnerships as needed, secure agreements, and manage relationships and communications.
  • Coordinate the summer internship program, apply best practices, and enhance the program year over year.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a position of responsibility and accountability for employee relations and/or labor relations.
  • At least one year of experience managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding within a hiring company, preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP preferred.
