This includes managing various administrative tasks such as sending HR emails, creating employee profiles, and organizing employee files to maintain an efficient HR operation. In addition to onboarding, the role involves handling internal branding projects, which are essential for promoting the company culture and values among employees. The HR Generalist/Training Specialist will also be responsible for training front desk employees and serving as a backup for front desk responsibilities, ensuring that all HR functions are covered effectively. The position requires a proactive approach to maintaining employee engagement through initiatives such as monthly birthday celebrations and employee newsletters, which help foster a positive work environment. Overall, this role is crucial for supporting the HR department's goals and ensuring that all HR processes are executed smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all HR communications & trainings.
  • Manage the Internal Branding Project.
  • Act as the main contact for the onboarding process after an offer is received.
  • Send HR emails and manage Microsoft accounts.
  • Order business cards and manage car orders.
  • Set up desks and manage supplies for new hires.
  • Prepare employee agreements and manage E-Verify processes.
  • Announce new hires and maintain the employee newsletter.
  • Train front desk employees and back up front desk responsibilities.
  • Create employee profiles and organizational charts with pictures.
  • Organize HR work and create employee files properly.
  • Maintain the PTO file and manage monthly birthday celebrations.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves
