We are looking for a motivated and organized Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support our HR functions and ensure a positive experience for all camp staff. The HR Generalist will assist with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Christian ministry and has a heart for serving others through their HR expertise. In this role, you will manage day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, file maintenance, and reporting. You will assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Additionally, you will coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training. You will provide support to staff by addressing HR-related inquiries, resolving staff issues, and promoting a positive work environment in line with Christian values. You will also assist with the administration of staff benefits programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and maintain accurate employee records. Supporting the performance review process, coordinating training sessions, and assisting in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with the camp's leadership team to promote a safe and healthy work environment will be essential, as well as implementing safety protocols and training.
