As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce that delivers exceptional care and service to our senior community. This position is not just about fulfilling HR functions; it’s about being the welcoming face of our organization and ensuring that our employees feel valued and supported from the moment they join our team. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruiting new talent, onboarding new hires, and managing employee relations. Your efforts will directly contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture that emphasizes compassion, enthusiasm, and engagement. In your daily responsibilities, you will actively participate in recruiting efforts by identifying and attending off-site events to attract potential candidates. You will also handle the onboarding process for new employees, which includes managing paperwork, verifying certifications and licenses, and conducting orientation presentations. Additionally, you will be involved in payroll processing and assist in various employee relations activities, ensuring that our staff has the support they need to thrive in their roles. As a leader of the Safety Committee, you will help promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Responsibilities

  • Recruit new employees by identifying and attending off-site events and other opportunities.
  • On-board new hires, including managing paperwork and certification/licensure verification.
  • Conduct orientation presentations for new employees.
  • Process payroll for staff members.
  • Assist in Employee Relations activities to support staff needs.
  • Lead the Safety Committee to promote workplace safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Degree or coursework in Human Resources strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources or Recruiting is essential.
  • Strong enthusiasm for supporting employees and fostering a positive work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in senior care or hospitality industries is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
