About the position

The HR Generalist position at Vaco is a pivotal role within a leading pharmaceutical company located in Morristown, NJ. This hybrid position allows for one day of remote work per week, with a standard work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will be a UKG superuser, responsible for overseeing comprehensive operations of the UKG system, which includes payroll processing, benefits administration, and time management. The role requires a strong focus on HRIS management, leveraging advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills to generate insights and reports that inform HR strategies and decisions. In addition to managing the UKG system, the HR Generalist will execute internal reviews of compensation, employee perks, retirement plans, and workplace insurance programs. This position also involves facilitating staff relations by guiding leadership on corrective measures and contributing to annual evaluations and recruitment strategies. The HR Generalist will uphold HR guidelines, protocols, and labor statutes while supervising workplace logistics and delivering executive-level support. The role requires liaising with external partners for various personnel services and spearheading initiatives aimed at boosting employee morale and well-being. A commitment to championing workplace diversity and inclusivity is essential, as the HR Generalist will support remuneration strategies and future leadership planning. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of HR experience. A PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred, and adaptability to work in a global business culture is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
