About the position

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various HR functions and initiatives. This position is crucial for managing the full employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring that all processes are handled efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations. The HR Generalist will assist in recruitment processes, which include job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews to find the best talent for our organization. In addition to recruitment, the HR Generalist will maintain employee records and support workforce management activities such as scheduling and attendance tracking. Utilizing HRIS systems for data entry and reporting will be a significant part of the role, as will handling various administrative tasks related to HR operations. The candidate will also contribute to talent management strategies, including succession planning, and will be responsible for staying updated on employment and labor laws to ensure company compliance. Furthermore, overseeing OSHA compliance within the organization is a critical responsibility of this position. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proven experience in an HR role, showcasing knowledge of HR best practices. Familiarity with SAP or similar HR software is a plus, as is the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Strong organizational and time-management skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for success in this role. Additionally, knowledge of social media management for employer branding purposes will be beneficial.
